Jesse & Joy Southaven Concert reviews
The Crue Disappointment
I eagerly awaited the Jesse & Joy Final Tour and secured my tickets promptly when they were released. On August 19, 2026, I witnessed them at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC.
Despite my prime Section 3 seating, slightly off-center, I cannot adequately convey my disappointment with the show's sound quality. Vince Neil's vocals were completely drowned out! I could barely make out the songs, relying solely on my familiarity with the music's tempo and melody.
One might assume the venue was to blame for the sound issues, but that is incorrect. Alice Cooper, the opening act, delivered crystal-clear performances with every lyric audible. Surprisingly, the opener outshone the headliner!
Having attended rock concerts for 15 years and seen all the major bands, I can confidently state that this was the worst-sounding show I've ever experienced. It's regrettable because the visual effects and overall production were exceptional.
I would caution anyone considering attending Motley Crue on this tour to heed the negative feedback. Unfortunately, reports of Vince being inaudible are accurate. Despite a few intoxicated fans praising the concert, the general consensus around me was that it felt more like an instrumental display.
